Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American singer, actress, and a writer. She is most well recognized for her role as Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. The stage debut of her career started in the 1950s, with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. In the 1950s she performed as a stage performer in a few Broadway shows before gaining her way into the spotlight with her hit song 'Lil' Abner's debut in 1957. The album was released by her too late for Tina the same year. Louise made her debut on the screen in Hollywood in God's Little Acre, a film that was released in the year 1958. She was Griselda who was a character from the movie. While in New York, Louise enrolled in Actors Studio and began her relationship with Lee Strasberg. Her next memorable role came through in 1964 when she enrolled with CBS to play Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise was a success in Hollywood as well as Broadway in roles that were more serious to counter her image of glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 and in the role of Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although during the past couple of years she's also earned an impact as a director who has been successful in several well-known television series like Supernatural and The 100. She was born on the 28th of August, 1965, in Essex. When she was 3, her family moved her to Toronto where she lived throughout her early years. Her home was in Vancouver following her selection for the role of Samantha Carter.
