Sharni Vison, an Australian-American dancer and actress, was born 22 July 1983, in Sydney Australia. Her debut was in the year 2001. She played a lesser role as a character in Home and Away. The show was able to select her for the main character in the soap opera in Australia Home and Away because her performance in this limited part was so impressive that the casting agents wanted to cast her in other parts. However, she did submit an attempt to audition but was not selected instead in the same show she was cast in the character of Cassie Turner, who is the troubled teenage girl who was placed in foster care.
